INDEPENDENT BUSINESS PERFORMANCE ADVISOR
You’ll deal directly with me, no departments, handovers or sales pressure.

You know your work inside out. But when a decision feels difficult, the numbers are unclear, or performance isn’t quite where you expected, it helps to have someone independent across the table.
I bring financial understanding, commercial thinking and a practical outside perspective — so you can see what matters, ask better questions and decide what to do next.
A SIMPLE WAY TO START
You can start with a simple review, talk through one important decision, or build an ongoing advisory relationship. There’s no hard sell — just the right level of support for what’s in front of you.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Owner-managed SMEs, especially businesses without a large internal finance team — and owners who want an experienced, independent sounding board.
01
One-Page Business Performance Review
Share the numbers and I’ll help you see the story behind them: what’s going well, what deserves attention and the questions worth asking next.
02
Business Strategy Session
Bring the problem, idea or decision you’ve been turning over in your head. We’ll work through it together in a confidential, focused conversation.
03
Business Health Check
A practical step back to look at performance, cash flow, pricing, costs, opportunities and risks — with clear priorities, not a corporate report.
04
Ongoing Business Reviews
Regular monthly or quarterly reviews to make sense of what has changed, what needs attention and what decisions are coming up.
05
Strategic Advisory Partnership
For owners who value a regular sounding board: an ongoing relationship for decisions, performance discussions, ideas and honest challenge.
HOW I WORK
My job isn’t to create reports that sit in a folder. It’s to help you understand what matters and make a confident next move.
01
Plain English — clear explanations of what the information actually means.
02
Independent perspective — constructive challenge when you need another view.
03
Personal service — you work directly with me, every time.
04
Technology with human judgement — I use smart tools to work efficiently, then apply experience and context to turn information into useful advice.

ABOUT DAVID
I’m David (or Dave), an accountant with around 10 years’ experience progressing from junior finance roles into senior management. I also hold a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
I started advising businesses because I enjoy turning complicated financial and commercial information into a useful, honest conversation. I’m not building a large consultancy — I want to remain the person clients know, trust and can call when they need a clear perspective.
01
I already have an accountant. Why would I need a business advisor?
An accountant can help ensure the numbers are correct. I help you understand what those numbers mean for the business and what you might want to do next.
02
Do I need a finance department or a large business?
No. I work with owner-managed businesses that want a clearer view of their performance and someone independent to talk things through with.
03
Can I just book a one-off session?
Absolutely. A focused strategy session is designed for exactly that — a confidential conversation about an idea, concern or decision.
04
How confidential is my business information?
It is treated professionally and confidentially. Good advice depends on a relationship where you can speak openly.
A NO-PRESSURE FIRST CONVERSATION
Tell me a little about the business, the decision or the issue on your mind. We’ll work out whether a review, session or something more ongoing feels useful.
